Did anyone get this message for UCLA

Hey I just checked mine and I got this message:

Dear Andrew:

We are unable to provide your status information online at this time. You will be notified of any status changes in writing.

If your name and contact information listed above is incorrect, please notify us.

UCLA Undergraduate Admissions
and Relations with Schools

It's not the same as others... anyone knows what is going on with this? :[

They are still pending your admission.

Do you not have an email address on file with them?

Yeah they have my email. I don't think it's still pending because the people that had a pending app got a different message.

My situation is a little different though, because I got in last year (out of high school) but got kicked out before I was even able to go because I got 2 C's my 2nd semester senior year.

I tried to make a new URSA acc to check if I got the SIR but it says mine already exsists, and I can still log on to my last years acc and register for classes and whatnot... so I don't know what's going on anymore :[

asdffffffffffffff

ermidnite, i get the same message, and the same thing happened to me, i was accepted last year, but rejected because of transferable units and i have no idea what it means, or if it will change. let me know if you hear something.

i might call today and ask what's up.

Oh wow that's interesting. I guess it's just standard procedure then? I tried to do the URSA trick everyone is talking about but it won't let me sign up for a new acc because it says I already have one, and when I log in it's the same as last year; I can register for classes and everything... I don't know what's happening :[. did you get a chance to call? I called at like 4:30 but the advisors left already so I don't know ;/. I'll let you know if I find out anything.

ermdite. what are your stats? i created an ursa account awhile ago too, but i can't log in. it says i dont have access because im not a student, even though all my account information is correct. it looks to me like a good sign that you can still go in and at least roam around ursa.

Humm well the thing is when I got kicked out last year I still had the same things I do out; the email still worked and I can still log in and what not. I'm not sure :[ but my stats are nothing special... I did finish all 60 (semester) units I needed in one year though... I'm hoping to just go off the fact that I made it in last year and off a lot of my high school stats.

GPA: 3.6x (little discrepancy because I have a 3.8 if you just count this year when I started CC, but I screwed around with college classes during high school and got a C and a few B's which lowered my GPA :[)
TAP: no, honors classes were full and I couldn't finish
EC: not so swell this past year, but a lot in high school (which I put on the app)
Essay: To be honest, they were pretty damn good

EDIT: and I applied for Econ and I got kicked out for EE last year. haha the pre-reqs were easier to fulfill =p

Hey damemaude, did you ever end up calling them? I called and they said there wasn't a decision made on file yet, I don't know if it's the same situation as with you but I just wanted to check... I really don't know what to this about this :[

i got the same message...i can see the "accept or decline your admission offer" option on URSA. I called the admissions office, and they told me that there "are no negative flags on your application, and we're not sure why you're getting your decision in the mail. But like you said, you're already accepted so don't worry." Kind of strange...

Oh man... that doesn't sound too good for me :[. But congrats on your acceptance!

One question, when you make the URSA account, do you use the option of:
I do not have a UCLA Identification Number and I am NONE OF THE ABOVE. Accounts created without a UCLA ID number can be used to authenticate to many UCLA applications, but are not generally eligible to receive campus services.

or:
New UCLA Student (including admitted applicants)

because I can't make an account with my application ID number because it says my acc already exists from last year.

yeah, i called and they said i was still being reviewed....

I don't know... I'm kind of worried about why they told poppin that there are no negative flags on his app, and they didn't tell me :[. Guess we'll just have to wait

i can't believe they kicked u out with 2 C's ermidnite...i thought u just couldn't get 3 C's or more and ur GPA over 3.0....

What was ur unweighted GPA throughout the whole year? Were there any other reasons u may have been kicked out?

Yeah... it was a huge shock to me too. 2 C's in AP classes ;[ shrug. Yeah my GPA didn't get over 3.0 though.. it was like a 2.8 for my senior year. Albeit bad, but I know people that did far worse and still stayed in from my school, same major same everything... just bad luck I say. I know someone that got a D in a class and still stayed in Berkeley :[. I just hope I get back in this year though... busted my ass to finish everything in one year so I don't have to stay at a CC too long :[

best of luck to u...i was admitted into UCLA and im doing my best to get at least a C in Calc 3...a class i don't even need but i put it on my application so now i have to finish it...i have a D+ right now... i have to score a 72.6 on the final to get a C

i have a pretty good GPA though... ill end up with 6 a's 4 b's...maybe even 7 a's if i can get an A in this English class...
and then a C probably in the CC class

I'm in a same situation, How's your myFAO (financial aid) page looks like?

I bet you that's the reason your admission got rescinded, not the 2 Cs specifically.

how do u get below a 3.0 with just 2 C's...did u get B's in like all of your other classes?
