Did anyone have their interview yet?

Oh my god. I'm so freaked out - they called me today and told me my interview was tomorrow!! Has anyone interviewed yet? I would really really appreciate some tips! I'm totally panicking. ::hyperventilates::

My interview's tomorrow too! They called me a couple of days ago (or was it yesterday?) and told me. I'm tr

I haven't gotten the call yet. Anyone in my boat?

I'm in your boat.

im in your boat...of course theyre still waiting for my nov scores...u think ill still get an interview?

i guess we're just in the "obvious admit; don't even need interviews" pile

nope. im worried too. :S

I had my interview days ago: with a computer science guy, what I want to study. He invited me to his workplace (he was a director!): we talked about Princeton, computer science, I showed him some of the stuff I've created and, in general, was a relaxed conversation... I don't think you should worry that much; just think of some things to say and ask about Princeton and enjoy...

No interview here. All this talk of interviewing makes me nervous, maybe I don't want one after all...

my interview was extremely relaxed. she was making thanksgiving dinner in advance, flipped through the list of princeton questions - and basically asked me stuff about myself, and then I asked her stuff about princeton. it was extremely informal, like a chat, and we were both making jokes and laughing all the way through. at the end she said she'd give me a "fantastic" rec and she hoped it all would go well. good luck everyone..they're not ogres ;)

man, i was just contacted this morning. I have my interview tomorrow at 10!

Good luck, Bokonon! This seems to be a popular weekend for interviews.

i had my interview yesterday (friday, the 19th). It went quite different than i imagined, but not any worse. my interviewer didnt ask me any questions at all. Rather, he just went on to explain pton's different policies, and stuff. Realizing he didnt have to sell me on pton, we basically chatted about our highschools, and how life is at pton.

I think i learned more from him than he learned from me, lol, but ah well, i enjoyed it a lot. He said that the point of the interview is not to evaluate the student, but rather to allow the student to see what a real-life Pton graduate is like, and ask any questions about the college that the student might have.

is that how ur interview went as well?

My interview is in an hour and half

Oooh good luck everyone!

I'm nervous, bahhhhhhhhhhh.

No reason to be though............

I just came back from my interview, and...wow...that was awesome. My interviewer was brand-new (she graduated in '03 and is a grad student at the local uni) and we just had a great conversation about all things Princeton, me, and more. She was a psychology major and the whole interview felt a whole lot like a doctor-patient kind of thing. She asked some great questions that forced me to come up with some tough answers (esp. the questions about "Why should they pick you? How would you fit into the Princeton community?"). She also asked about my personal background and said that after hearing it, she thought I should've included it in my app. Oh well. She said she'll talk about it in her report. She was an incredibly nice, down-to-earth person. We actually ended up talking about the differences between Princeton and the university we were meeting at. Good times. I didn't propose to her, but she did give me her digits ;)

Advice: Don't be nervous! It's a lot of fun and well worth the trouble. I'm very glad I had the opportunity to do one. Relax, be yourself, and have fun. The interviewer will notice.

God, I want to get in so badly right now. Ugh.

I'm still waiting for the confirmation postcard. WTF!? I'm seriously worried, and gonna call them on Monday.

lol yay philntex
so if you get deferred, you can call her up and say "I thought you loved me!!!" :D

hahaha YES! I'm going to do that if I get deferred most def. I'll explain the plans I had for us if I were to get accepted, and she'll regret to her dying day that I didn't get in. lol
