i still haven't received my letter for the drexel/drexel program.
but i e-mailed the lady from Drexel Admissions and she said that they are still working on a few applications because this year's applicant pool was really large and competitive. but she said i should be hearing back in a few weeks.

eraser, where r u going?

I got my letter from Drexel/Drexel yesterday. I was actually sent a letter telling me I was wait listed in March, but I got an acceptance letter yesterday. I probably won't be going though, because I got into TCNJ, which I like more. It's a better school and also less expensive.

congrats silverair! yes, definitely tcnj/umdnj is better - i was rejected from the first round for that program.

but why did you get waitlisted in march for drexel, and on what day? what did the waitlist letter say? this means that they are trying to push back their decison notification deadline.

i still don't know where i'm going b/c i'm still waiting on the rutgers/umdnj program

silverairchild, you've already heard from the tcnj/umdnj program?

yeah i haven't heard from the rutgers/umdnj program either..
and still nothing from drexel/drexel..or ursinus/drexel

the may 1st deadline is approaching too quickly!!

Still no letter. But I called and they said it should be here by saturday at latest (Live in NYC)

getting anxious... hey, anyone, whats the acceptance envelope look like?

the waitlist letter for drexel/drexel was a normal envelope (not thick :() and simply stated that despite my credentials i was going to be waitlisted, could I please sign this sheet and return it saying that I was willing to be put on the list? I got that letter around the 17th-or 18th of March and sent it back the next day (normal mail).
On monday 4/7 i got a big envelope (the ones that fit 8.5 by 11 pieces of paper) from drexel. it was thin--only two pages it said "congratulations!" and then went on to list all the requirements (mcats, grades, etc) and a sheet for me to sign.

tcnj takes a while to hear back from beause dr. shevlin calls everyone. the paper work comes after the call. and dont worry if you're not home--he leave a message or calls again.

Can someone post their stats? and also how much it costs? Thanks.

Hi, I am new to this thread. Applied for a 7 year med drexel/drexel, villnova/drexel, I did not hear from them as of yet. I was been told they have not make any decision yet. can some one shed some light on it.

got in lehigh/drexel

So is anyone else considering going to drexel/drexel or lehigh/drexel?

whats better villanova/drexel, lehigh/drexel, or drexel/drexel

i really dont want to sound like im boasting but i got into all 3 and i cant decide which ones best to go to

I have the same dilemma, i got into drexel/drexel and lehigh/drexel, but i have no idea where to go

Lehigh is the better school (ranked 31), but i don't know if that makes a difference. Also, lehigh doesn't have a lot of diversity and is 50k per year

Drexel is ranked 109ish but is in the city and would cost me only 30k

don't know about villanova/drexel.

does undergraduate matter at all?

i think the reason u go to a good undergraduate school is mainly to get better chances at a good grad or med school....but if u already know ur sealed into drexel med it shouldnt matter right?

or am i completely wrong and ur BA degree does matter

i don't know either. I would think that it shouldn't matter. Right now, i think it is more about financial costs, and the overall feel of the undergraduate school that would make make me choose one college over the other.

u said you would pick umdnj over drexel med college...

WHy?

nothing special actually, it's in-state and, thus, would cost me significantly less. But i didn't get in... so whatever.
