didn’t sacrifice anything, instead I just bombed junior year and screwed up my gpa when it was pretty decent after sophomore year… ■■■.

I’m about to start junior year, and I totally expect to sacrifice a LOT of time -.-

damn,
howre we gonna get through it?
its hard for me to run on 6 hours of sleep, how do you guys do it on less?

Well… right now here’s my schedule:

Wake up -> School -> Home -> Homework -> Piano -> Sleep

dam, i wish i followed that kind of schedule. Mine junior year was more like this:

Wake up -> School -> Home -> Play games/watch tv for like 4 hours -> Browse internet until 12 am -> Started hw :D

@mibobsx3, hhahhaha did everything still work out alright in the end?

eh… managed to get a 5 on apush, 4 on bio which was enough for a grade bump in those classes, but gpa is still terrible since i basically failed calculus with a D… got a 3 on exam =/

damn man, atleast theres college.

I’m going into junior year. I’m going to be juggling six A-Levels, three (or more!) online classes, working part time and athletics… and a social life and a boyfriend. Should be interesting, to say the least! :D

aahahah well i think your the first girl to post on the forum. good luck to you and i hope everything turns out alright.

Was that to me bluedevils? If it was, thank you! I have a feeling I’ll need it.

I’ve also just remembered the SAT and SAT IIs. I’m hoping to get both out of the way this year too.

I’ve been told expecting sleep this year is a pipe dream.

@simpsonlisa, yeah haha. idk, i can never really function on low levels of sleep but i guess i’ll have to get used to it. and yeah, ***** our lives.
harvard better be calling me every god damn day after this year.

@bluedevils31

I’m really surprised that I’m the first girl. :D

And I’m bad at it too but luckily I’m good at b.s.ing essays.

What’s terrible is I’m taking quite a few classes that I’m underprepared for or are in areas that I’m naturally bad at (I’m taking AP Chem… I suck at chem.).

What’s your courseload like this year? :D

yeah hahah, im not really good at anything but im not really bad at anything
and idk, im like valedictorian of our school for the past 2 years, but now ofcourse everyones a tough guy junior year and wants to take like 6 ap classes
so i decided to do this:

ap chem

ap lang

ap calc bc

ap enviro

ap bio

ap us gov

ap ush

ap phys c: both parts

ap phys b

ap macro (retake cause i got a 4 in sophomore year)

ap micro

ap stat (retake cause i got a 4 in sophomore year)

ap euro

ap world

ap psych

ap human

we’ll see how it goes, but in the end i’ll probably have to drop some. =(. goodbye whatever life i had…

You’re insane but I really hope it works out! :)

AP-wise I’m taking Chem and Art History definately and possibly Euro, APUSH, US Gov and Comp Gov. Possibly Bio too…

Damn, are you gonna self study the rest?
And like what materials are you gonna use?
Cause I wanna do euro.
See my plan is this: do everything possible in junior year.
Senior year: take all my classes at princeton( i love 10 minutes away)
this is mostly because i hate high school and i just want to go to college asap ya know?
idk, also its a way of saying **** you to everyone who ever tried to challenge me.
its like badass in the college confidential way. ;)

No, online classes.
I’m not taking any of the AP exams, only the classes as I’m an international and AP testing centres are too far away for me so self-studying would be pointless. And I get that, totally. You should have opted for homeschooling. So much better!

damn, yeah sometimes i do wish i was homeschooled haha.
idk like sometimes i like the people, but then sometimes i just cant stand anyone.
are you homeschooled?
and do you live like in a rural country where you cant take ap exams? or is just that there are no testing centres like in london or whatever

You should read the Teenage Liberation Handbook. I love that book! :)

The unsocialised stereotype is untrue though. One thing I gotta say. And I was homeschooled. I’m going back for the last two years starting this fall to take A-Levels but I’ve loved every minute of being homeschooled.

I actually live in a city, but the centres are pretty much in London and nowhere else and since I live ~6 hours away, there’s no way I can take the exams. :)

^^@Bluedevils Thats not your actual schedule… Which ones are you taking in school and which ones are you selfing?
