And if so, could you send me a copy just so I can see an example. (I'm having trouble figuring out how to say what I want to say)

Thanks

Thanks

In my case, I wrote a letter to them saying why i had a dip in grades in 10th-11th grade.

Perhaps I may also send a letter to ONE of my colleges sayign why I really want to go there...if there is still time.

Send them awards and crap.

Yes I sent all of my schools my midyear grades, took my SAT over twice and still did interviews. The colleges I did this for, put me on a WL. Can u believe that. But it didnt matter, b/c I got into Penn State Main.

yeah i sent them a letter about how much i wanted to attend the school, an additional teacher reccomendation, two awards (student of the month, no biggie), 1st quarter grades and mid-year report

I'm thinking of contacting a college and asking why I got rejected, but I don't really know how to phrase it. I don't want to come across as acusatory or anything, but I'm just curious. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about doing this?

Do not ask.

Updated resume, 2 addl. reco letters (one from my principal) and a letter

An additional letter and improved SAT scores. I didn't write a letter because it was no longer my first choice.

Sent in a couple state-level awards and some more interest in words

Basically you send them an update of everything....awards, grades, scores, ECs, etc.

Some people choose to send a letter of EXTREME interest (or even a song!)....but usually some choose to send them an extra recommendation or an extra essay!
