When I was first looking into possible transfer places, UPenn was at the top because of Wharton. I ended up marking it off the list because they "strongly recommended" having a foreign language completed before applying and all I've taken was in high school. Still, I'm wondering whether that just meant high school foreign language, because if not it will make UPenn the first place I've seen that wants a foreign language before you get there.

Anyways.............did anyone get into UPenn? I never hear anything about it on the transfer forum. I'm still interested in Wharton since UPenn is right up there with UChicago to me for the most beautiful campuses, but I don't want to waste time if they have a tiny admit rate.

You never hear anything about Penn on the transfer Forum?

That thread is the 3rd most replied to and viewed thread in the transfer forum.

well its new to me
thanks

For those of you that transferred to Penn or are familiar with the acceptance rates, would it be a wiser decision to apply to the college and major in Economics, then try to internally transfer to Wharton, or are the odds just the same if I apply as an external transfer to Wharton?

you cant internally transfer if you transfer into penn

"most beautiful campuses," brand_182? No offense, but Penn is in the city, as is UChicago. And I'm not just saying this b/c of ND's picture perfect place.

i would be referring to the buildings...but i have to say i haven't seen notre dame. penn and uchicago both have awesome buildings.
