If you haven't sent in Part II, will they contact you?

I sent in part I, but not part II... I'm applying RD. What's the deal with that?

chill chill chill everyone.

ED kids: your names have been trickling to the alumni in charge of your area. Most of you will be called this week. But sometimes there are mistakes. Sometimes you live in Hawaii and your name goes to the person who coordinates Los Angeles. That takes an extra few days to iron out.

RD kids: It is unlikely you will be interviewed or even called until after Dec 1st (the deadline for ED interviews). However, in areas with very few applicants or highly efficient alumni, it might happen.

illinois_kid: I've only submitted Form 1 and my teachers might have sent in their recs, and my interviewer called me yesterday (and asked to meet me an hour and a half later, eeeeek-- I declined ): I was freaking out!), so yes, I guess they will contact you if they can.

I'm applying RD and I just sent in part 1...maybe about 2 weeks ago. An alumni emailed me last week and I just responded today. So, I guess I have my interview next Saturday. It's going to be at Starbucks! :D

just had my alum interview today at starbucks. i was totally overdressed (still, better overdressed than underdressed) but it went really well! :) good luck to everyone else

What is the typical dress code for a guy during this kind of interview?

Still haven't been contacted...

Nice pants (no holes), and a nice shirt (not worn out) that go together at least somewhat nicely.

I wore a shirt that says BROWN, a furry jacket from abercrombie, and black/brown pants.

Brown doesn't seem to conduct interviews anywhere besides starbucks or tully's, so you don't have to dress like you're being interviewed in an office.

My interviewer was sent an interview request by Brown three weeks ago. The interview went very, very well. Be prepared for some questions about Brown. They probe your knowledge of the school. Personally, I wore brown cords, a long sleeve t-shirt, and a jacket. My interviewer was very nice, and I even found out that I had known her in the past, small world :).

I've been contacted; the interview will be in his office.

I don't know what to wear...I don't think we have anything in common from what I can fathom so far. So yeah. I'm nervous...?

What to wear for girls?? Starbucks interview on Saturday.. and it's getting kind of cold so I'd rather not wear a skirt or anything of the sort. Think jeans are okay, if I dress them up a bit (i.e., heels and a nice sweater)? I'm usually a rather dressy person anyway.

And my interviewer seems to be pretty chill.. class of '01. (: And I talked to him on the phone, where he seemed to be quite casual.. so I'm guessing yes on the jeans? Or maybe corduroys?

I think for a Starbucks interview with a casual interviewer, a dressy jeans or corduroys outfit would be fine. (I'm also a girl, by the way, lol.)

heh heh heh... i overdressed for starbucks... still, better over than under.

good luck!

How long have these lasted for you guys?

50 minutes, maybe a bit longer.

I still have not received any information regarding interview yet :/
(I sent my apps by mail on Nov. 1; They said they received my app on Nov. 6)
Arrr am i the only person?
Getting worried here..

Yeah I haven't been contacted yet either, neither have a few people I know in my area who are applying. My friend's dad knows the/an interviewer for the area who says that he hasn't even been contacted by Brown yet. I sent Brown admissions an e-mail today bringing up this possible miscommunication but I'll call for a name later in the week regardless.

aaaaaaaaand I recieved the typical automaton admissions board response e-mail. Thank you, but I didn't ask about international interviews or the necessity of an interview. So don't try my approach.

they called me

Psyche; I just got called.
