did CC change the clock the wrong way?

<p>Instead of moving it from GMT-5 to GMT-4 (for DST) they moved it to GMT-6 making it 2 hrs less than EST, was this done intentionaly?</p>

<p>I don't understand... My logged in time says GMT -4 for EDT . Even when I'm logged out, it's -5. Where do you see -6?</p>

<p>Actually now when I post it shows the time I actually posted (we are central time). Before it was always a couple of hours ahead and I used to wonder what time zone CC was in as Eastern is only 1 hour ahead of us and as far as I know Eastern is as far East as the US time zones go.</p>

<p>And I never even noticed there was a time zone at the bottom of the screen till reading this thread! Mine says GMT 5. And we are Eastern and it says the correct time - for me.</p>

<p>I think cc is central time but i don't remember the posted times being wrong until recently.</p>
