Did CC just take down the crazy thread? If it did, are we facing legal problems? Please, MODERATORS GIVE US SOMETHING>>>>ANYTHING.

ya could someone at least please explain what happened/is happening. I agree that no one should post the website any more, but we can't just delete the thread and not talk about it. People need to call Cornell bright and early tomorow and find out what happened. And who was the kid that originally posted the link? Do we think it was a real decision?

I believe they did take it down, it's a shame, I'd like some closure as to whether it's real or not, haha.

eh...i hope they didnt delete it or anything..then we wouldnt have any proof to show that we were ignorant of what the site actually had, right bklyn?

exactly.....seicheong...it still says "not yet available" or something of that nature...for u? cus i have that too...i think it means they didnt post it up yet...they take i guess until wed or thurs

I took a screen shot of everything, guys. If we get in trouble for some odd reason, let's do something about it.

Hmm..I'd imagine it was deleted because it promotes accessing information that isn't intended to be seen till the 15th.

brlyn, did Hum Ed request you 1st quarter grades yet?

Screeeeeeeeenshot!!!!! ;d

Hotelschool, what happened was a guy (his/her handle was GLfromCornell or something to that effect) made a post saying good luck and gave us a link that showed where our decisions would be posted on thursday. A few of us clicked it out of curiosity (seichong, richardcory, dakdak, and myself to name a few) and we received actual decisions (at least they looked real).

This is too crazy for me. I was completely relaxed and not thinking about it and that was the first thread I read when I came back from like a week of no CC. Somehow that made me want to go to CU more and i'm flipping out much more than before. AHHHHH just a couple more days.

Yeah, I agree....... It better be real.... my acceptance..

human ec stopped requesting 1st quarter grades, and they never requested mine.

Alright, I used the link thing too and mine said "No Decision Made Yet".

I know someone's who said that they got it. This is really messed up. I really do hope no legal reprecussions come out of this.

ye, i got that too...

I hope nothing happens because none of this was your fault!
(yes, I know I'm random. I'm not applying to Cornell but I read the thread) the people who got expelled last year deliberately tried to find out. you guys just clicked to see if it was a prank. if they do anything, there will be a CC outrage!

Wow, this whole thing is becoming terrible very quickly. I am extremely scared about being rejected or held responsible for this. I don't understand how they could hold us responsible, especially those of us who clicked the link early on, before anyone was clear what it was. I honestly had no idea that the link would lead to an actual decision page. It easily could have been some sort of joke!

yeah.. for the first 10-20 minutes..everyone who clikced on it thought it was some prank

i just hope nothing happens :(

it was real as hell. but you guys have to stop worrying; there's no way they would reject someone for clicking that link.

Holden: what do you think it means if it said "Decision not yet made"?

Someone who lives close to me said his said he was in and mine said the above. For Decision not made, could it possibly mean im deferred/rejected or, hopefully, they just didnt put it up yet.
