Did Cornell ask for your transcript?

<p>are you guys talking about 1st quarter grades??? the transcript is an admission requirement. so if you forgot to send it to them, they would of course ask you for it. if you are talking about 1st quarter grades, then:</p>

<p>CALS, No, BUT I send them without request, so they may have recieved them before they bothered requesting them.</p>

<p>CAS - Unsure if my guidance counselor sent it on her own or if Cornell requested it...</p>

<p>I know a friend who's applying for Engineering who hasn't sent his 1st q. grades. But he hasn't recieved a notification/reminder that says he still hasn't sent his 1st q. grade. If it's a requirement for Eng. then shouldn't the college have to notify him about this missing grade just like any other requirements(SAT, transcript etc)? I'm starting to wonder if it's not that important.. maybe they just wanted to check how we're doing?</p>

<p>actaullly, sometimes it's quite possible that colleges don't request the first quarter grades because the applicant is already accepted (or defferred/rejected). i have not heard anyone applying ED Arts and Sciences receiving a request for their 1st quarter grades until i read this post. so keep your fingers crossed for those who haven't received the request (including me =p)</p>

<p>My counseling office sent in my transcript back in september, but Cornell has yet to ask me for my 1st quarter grades. (I'm A&S).</p>

<p>yea, i don't think A&S requested my 1st grade reports, but my counselor did send them in already. ugh...so frustrating</p>

<p>Did all of you apply ED? Are RD candidates supposed to send in their 1st marking period grades now? Or wait to send the midyear report? Thanks.</p>
