Did Harvard review Incomplete Applications (ACT/SAT scores) and offered them interview?

I was wondering how many of you have incompleted application because of October ACT/ November SAT scores? And did they offer you an interview? Do they review incomplete application(ACT/SAT)? If yes when they start it?

That statement would seem to incident that applications which are incomplete due to missing test scores will be read prior to scores being received and interviews will be offered if there are enough alumni in your area.

FWIW: Harvard’s Admissions Committee is comprised of about 40 members, half of whom are teaching faculty. The faculty cannot meet when classes are in session, so the full committee starts it’s meetings the day after fall classes have ended: http://www.registrar.fas.harvard.edu/calendar/five-year-calendar. If you look at the calendar, that means the full committee probably begins meeting on December 4th and probably goes until December 10th. So, there is plenty of time for your test scores to be received and your interview to be scheduled prior to the full committee meetings, so no worries.

If Harvard is like Yale, then all names of submitted applicants are sent to the area alumni interviewing groups – obviously that includes many who are still awaiting scores to be added to their files. There is no other way to do it – the window is too short to hold back a bunch for that small item.

That was helpful. Thanks for your quick reply

I’m so nervous, haven’t got interview yet. Is that a bad sign? I’m from a county with no local interviewers.

Have you emailed Harvard with your full name, the name of your school, the country in which your school is located, and, if different, the country where you are located: https://college.harvard.edu/admissions/application-process/what-we-look/interviews

My country isn’t listed there so Should I email them anyway?

Yes!

Really!!! I didn’t know that, I thought they’ll contact you for further information and offering interview.

Is it late to email them now or not?

Please reread the website. If you are from the US or Canada, an interviewer will contact you. If you are an international student, you may not be interviewed. If your country is not listed in either of those sections, you should email Harvard, but assume you probably will not be interviewed.

Ok, thanks a lot.
