Did I calculate my GT GPA correctly?

Alg. 1: A
Alg. 2: A,A
Geometry: A,A
Pre-Calculus: A,B
Calculus honors: A,B
AP Statistics: B,B

Biology Honors: A,A
Chemistry Honors: A,B
Physics Honors: A,A
AP Bio: B,B

English 1: A,A
English 2: A,C
AP English: A,B

French 1: A,A
French 2: B,A
French 3: B,A

PE: A,A
Medical Skills: A,A

Dual Enrollment Microapps: A
AP World: B,B
APUSH: B,B
AP Micro: B

I got around a 3.9 tech weighted. Is this around correct?

bump! 10char

That’s a 3.70 GPA for GT.

41 semester grades - 4 for PE and medical skills (no credit for these courses) = 37 semester grades

2 @ 4.5 (Dual Enrollment + 1st Semester AP English)
19 @ 4.0 (all other A’s)
10 @ 3.5 (all other AP’s)
5 @ 3.0 (the non AP B’s)
1 @ 2.0 (2nd Semester English 2)

Total is 137 for 37 semester grades = 3.70 GPA.

For perspective, the average admitted GPA was 3.94 last year, the average matriculated GPA was 3.87, and the middle 50% range on SAT last year for matriculated students was 3.76 to 4.07.

That said, there are plenty of people on here who have gotten in with lower GPAs, as long as they had a good SAT score. Also, there’s the chance of a Summer offer.

Darn, I calculated it with PE and Medical Skills. Well, thank you very much for the informative answer. Do you think it would be worth it to switch to the summer term?

You can’t apply for the summer. When you apply, they either offer:

Fall admission

Summer admission

Guaranteed transfer admission if you meet a minimum college GPA after your first year

Rejection

(waitlist is in there, but that’s a temporary state that goes to one of the other four). If they make a certain offer (Summer or Fall), you can’t start in the other term. You have to start in the term offered.
