so pretty much, i was fine with my college application process... until i got three C's first semester senior year.
now i don't know what to do. should i apply to more, low tier schools? should i do nothing?
any help would be appreciated

in most cases this shouldnt screw you over unless u applied only to the most upper tier schools in which case i would apply to some lower schools

i agree with daman11. it also depends on what classes you got those c-s in. for example, a c in gym will look different from a c in ap physics or something

haha i got them in pretty bad classes to fail

international issues & public policy (a history elective.. this C wasn't actually my fault because my teacher pretended that i turned in assignments late due to his political disagreements with me)
AP psych
and
AP stats

yeaaa... pretty bad.

oh...dont mean to impose but ud have to tell us what schools u applied to and what ur intentions on major are

yeah those ap classes arent the hardest ones so it can hurt you. multiple Cs are bad, but if you had good stats on your app, you could still be Ok.

well, here are the schools to which i applied with a nonart major (i'm not really going to include the art program schools because those don't look at grades nearly as much)

before this i had a 3.4 uw gpa (9-11)

case western
boston university
babson
southern methodist
loyola marymount
university of rochester

both of my parents went to rochester. hopefully they will pity me because of that. probably not.

i had really good recs, a lot of leadership, and all of that dandy stuff everyone else on here does. i will spare your time by not listing it here.

my SAT is a 2020

if i should send out more apps, any ideas to which schools? i already did one for drexel. since their admissions rate is pretty high.

oh, my major selected was either business or marketing or something close to that for all of these.

my other grades first semester aren't great either.
B - Shakespeare's Tragedies
B+ - Coming Apart in the 1960's (history elective)
A - AP Studio Art (hard one haha)

those are soome pretty good schools i woudl def apply to ur state U
