<p>If you can wait a few years, and are willing to, joining the military would be a “good” option. Being in the military will make you independant and you can also get the gi bill. The military can be a huge mistake if you aren’t mature enough or are too independant (I speak from experience). But, it is an option to consider if you think you are up to it.</p>

Army ROTC scholarships - full tuition and fees, stipend of 300-500 per month, 1200 per year for books.
Make an informed choice.</p>
<p>I think this is a case of “you can’t have your cake and eat it too”</p>
<p>You either have to take out student loans or stay instate with what you can afford. You want a pretty big thing but you haven’t put in the work to get it.</p>
