Did i get accepted into UC Irvine?

Hi everyone,

I had applied for admission to the University of California, Irvine. I recently got a letter saying, “Greeting ‘Eptheus’ family and congratulations ‘Eptheus’ on the occasion of being admitted to the University of California, Irvine!” The letter goes on telling me that I am invited to attend Celebrate UCI, which is the universities annual open house. Then it says, “This fun event is a great way for newly admitted students and their families to experience campus.”

So I am a little confused, as I had not received any letter officially stating that I had been accepted into the University. And my online portal does not say anything yet either. Any idea as to what is going on?

I got the same letter yesterday stating that I got accepted into UCI but the portal didn’t show any decisions yet. We’re in the same boat

Why don’t you email admissions and ask?
