<p>I got the letter/invitation to attend the Chancellor's Reception and I read on here that it basically means that you got accepted. I couldn't attend because I didn't have a way to get there, so I don't know if that's true.
Also, I haven't received an email or mail of acceptance...I tried checking my UCSB account but it's under maintenance until March 23.
I didn't get into UCI, so UCSB is my second option and I'm scared I didn't get in.......</p>

<p>If the Chancellor’s Reception was in CA you got in, it was announced at all of the receptions. I don’t know what happened yesterday in the DC one, but since admissions were already out, I assume no such announcement was made. </p>
