Did I get In or Not? UCR

UCR sent me this weird email:

"Congratulations on your outstanding academic performance during your high school career. You excelled in your academic endeavors and are just the kind of scholar that a prestigious university like UC Riverside is looking for. You truly are an accomplished individual and because of your performance, we are recommending you for admission to the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) at the University of California, Riverside (UCR). Learn more and explore the extraordinary opportunities waiting for you in CHASS at go.ucr.edu/CHASS.

You will be hearing from UC Riverside on your admission in March. In the meantime, please go to My.UCR.edu, to create your admission notification account. Through your MyUCR account, you will get important updates from your Admissions Counselor, and be able to check on your admission status starting March 1st."

So, did I get in or not? If you got an email similar to this or if you applied, please share your experience with me! Thank you!

Think of it as a “likely letter”. Based on personal experience with my son’s, you will be accepted

My son also got the same message but from the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS). I think it’s a positive sign.

Seems to be pretty clear on when you will be officially admitted.

I’m glad to hear it’s positive, because D received the same email yesterday, and we were both a little confused about what it meant.

Yes we got that too and hopefully it is a positive signal from UCR.

Same! Except instead of CHASS, it was to the Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE) :slight_smile:

I really hope that they didn’t though and that we are considered to be the best students lol

Looks like it indicates that the school you applied to is recommending you to the university. Seems as likely as could be.

I got that letter about two weeks ago. I have no idea what it means though. Hopefully it means that we got in!

@mkolta14 Looks like that letter meant we were getting in because I also got my acceptance today!
