<p>yesterday i got this email from GTech inviting me to some "Welcome Weekend" for minority students. does that mean i officially got in? or is that just something they send to all the minorities who applied?</p>
<p>and if it does mean i got in, when can i expect something concrete like a packet in the mail or an official acceptance email?</p>

<p>I got the same email, my parents too. Im wondering the same thing too. I hope it means we got in..........</p>
<p>I called GT and they said that by the end of this week everyone will find out if they have been offered admission. International students will find out by e-mail and US students will find out by mail. So just keep your fingers crossed.</p>

<p>Thats what the lady at the admissions office told me ...
She said that if u r international then u will recieve a mail of your acceptance till 16th which is a monday .. which mean we will probably hear by friday as saturday sunday is a holiday..
If u are a US citizen then all the mails will be dispatched on 16th through 20th ... I think you can even call and find out on 16th .. Not very sure about that though ..</p>
