Did I just add two more rejects to my list?

<p>Didn't know where to post this -- so I posted it twice.</p>

<p>I just added (as the title implied) two more schools to my list as sort of borderling safety/match schools. But the more that I'm looking at them, the more I'm starting to wonder if they're more match/reach. Any insight would be COMPLETELY helpful and appriciated.</p>

GPA-3.95 (UW out of 4.0)</p>

<p>I think my essay is pretty good, not amazing though.</p>

<p>Decent list of ECs.. Obviously not an olympic athlete or anything, but roughly 4/7 ECs have leadership positions (Creator and Editor of independent newspaper, Latin Club President for 2 years, Youth Representative on Church Session for 2 years, and Senior Class Secretary), the other 3 don't have any available (Ski Club, Peer Counseling, and School Musical).</p>

<p>Some awards, although nothing spectacular. National Merit Commendation, Wells College National Leadership Award, local eaper essay contest winner, NLE Silver Medal/Magna Cum Laude, MME honors, high honor roll 7-11, NHS, and Spanish/Latin student of the month 9-11</p>

<p>Community Service probably adds up to ~100 hrs. Includes: Youth Summer soccer coach 2005-2008, PTSO, church nursery, and local baseball concession stand.</p>

<p>I just added Bard College and Skidmore College to the list. Panicking on whether or not I just added two more rejections!</p>

<p>just apply. Your stats are very good; your EC's are good as well. No harm in trying; chances are, you'll get in to both.</p>

<p>Given your numbers, they should be safeties, but be sure to prepare the applications as carefully as if they were reaches.</p>

<p>i dont think they're rejects! just apply as long as you can imagine yourself going there.</p>
