Did I just bind myself without knowing?

Hey guys, so this is my situation.

I received my offer of admission in late September, and accepted the offer of admission after calling in to confirm that it was not binding.

However, I noticed that there were only a couple seats left on the only date I will be free for the New Student Conference (I have planned out other school visits & internships) so without thinking or calling I went ahead and registered for it.

Does this mean that I HAVE to attend A&M? I'm still waiting for other school decisions on April 1st. If I decide to go to another school, will it be possible to reject the decision for A&M?

Thanks for your help guys!

Yes, you can still reject your acceptance. You have no problem declining if you change your mind. You would just let A&M know you have decided to commit to another school first. I’m not sure if you can recover your NSC payment, but other than that, you are fine. You would need to do this by May 1st and then commit to your chosen school by that same date as that is the national decision day for college acceptance for the fall.

Thanks alot!
