So I applied for summer transfer admission into Emory and they notify rolling after April 1st only by mail. I have not recieved anything in the mail yet. I have been checking my OPUS online everyday and today I opened it and my "Preferred e-mail" changed from my regular e-mail to "...@emory.edu".

Does anyone else's e-mail change who applied, or does this mean I have been accepted??

Never mind. I just called the admissions office and they told me I was accepted! Yay!!

Its cool to have that kind of email address, isn’t it?

yes its amazing! I still cant believe i got in though.

Did you find out yet?

DABEARS34 - when did you have all of your materials in by? I thought I had sent everything in by March 15th at the latest (minus my midterm grades which were sent in around the 28th) and yet OPUS still says my SAT scores and midterm grades haven’t been processed.

I had everyting in by around late March excpet for my professor recommendation which apparently got lost the first time it was sent in. My professor rec and mid-term grades probably got there around April 5th or a little after that.

If it says something is missing, you should call them to conform that its actually not there becasue they are pretty quick at updating your app status. And then send in another copy.

Thanks, I just got an email that my SAT scores were never received and that they require my final grades. I just resent my SAT scores, but I guess my midterm grades weren’t strong enough so they want my final grades (I had like a 3.7).

Are you guys all applying for summer? I am going to apply for fall, the deadline is June 1st.
