Did i just get lucky or a worthy admit ?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I just received admission as an International Transfer student(course work in US) to UIUC , Aerospace engg. </p>

<p>My profile:</p>

<p>SAT I : 760 Math 560 Critical Reading</p>

<p>College GPA: 3.67</p>

<p>Activities , Honors; Member of Students activities council, Deans honor roll for all semesters, Ranked 26th in a state talent search exam (India).</p>

<p>Got work experience as a Student Research assistant in National Institute of Aviation Research for one year.</p>

<p>Reading at others who got admission I seem to have much less activities and SAT scores , did I get lucky or have a good profile for UIUC ?</p>

<p>Don’t second guess yourself: this forum isn’t exactly a representation of the average high school or college student! I also am below average for students on the forum but I’m well above the national average.</p>

<p>College GPA is 3.67 which is good for a transfer. SAT score is not even considered for a transfer student.</p>
