<p>I applied to one major, but as I looked at other programs I found a major that was much and stll related to my intended field. So I emailed the transfer advisor and asked to change my major. Is that bad? Are they going to think I'm flakey now?</p>
<p>I don’t think it would have much of an effect on a transfer application.</p>

The only reason this would come off as bad is if you discussed why you loved your former major in your college application. It wouldn’t be flakey, just inconsistent and conflicting. However, this isn’t the worst thing in the world. Unless they are very specific programs, such as Theater or Bio-Chemistry, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem. Most of what they are evaluating you on is how you will fit into the school.
