<p>Bought a 27" monitor for my laptop without thinking about it much. Just got it and it only came with a DVI-DVI cable. but my computer only has a VGA output...</p>
<p>I checked and it does have a VGA input in the back. so, my questions:</p>
<p>1) what is the cheapest/best performance solution? can I buy some sort of VGA/DVI adaptor or a VGA-VGA cable?
2) Will the VGA output look terrible on a 27" LCD?</p>
