I am so stupid, I thought the deadline was Jan 15 like a lot of my other schools. I think I saw that the SAT/ACT score deadline for NYU is Jan 31 and I misread it…
Did I really miss the NYU deadline, it was like my dream school :(. Can I still apply or no?

Well, then don’t apply. You had a window to submit it, and didn’t submit it in time. Thousands of others got it in time. I’m sure there are plenty of other schools you’d be willing to go to anyhow. A dream school is just that, a dream. Doesn’t mean that it will become a reality, and I’m sure you’ll be happy wherever you end up going, just like most college students.

Sorry, but I like Drake’s view on life much better. Do you really wanna wake up when you’re old and look back at your dreams and say “oh well, I guess that’s life. Dreams end up just being dream” or do you want to make your dreams a reality?
As you grow up, you begin to understand which things are your “dreams”, and which are just a means to attain your dreams. College is the latter.
@dehca2016 You just conveniently just ignored my next statement which was “Doesn’t mean that it will become a reality”. Getting into your dream school is nice, but often times doesn’t happen. Dunno where you got the idea that I said you do nothing about your dreams. His post wasn’t even about dreams; I was just saying that there are other schools just as good as his dream school that can make him happy.

Listen no matter what just try. Call the office and ask. They might not allow you to submit it or maybe they will and you might eventually get in. Even if it’s only a 0.0001% chance take it so you don’t regret it years to come. It literally will not hurt you at a.
