I know nearly all MBA programs ask for all transcripts and grades after high school. I go to a top liberal arts college in the US, I’m a very good student with a 3.8+ gpa, great extracurriculars but the only issue is that I’m taking a summer course (quantitative pre-req for a minor course ) at university near my home and I’m not doing well in it at all( by that I mean C-/D+) . I don’t plan on transfering it to my university, if I don’t transfer the credit and it doesn’t count towards my major/minor could I get away with not submitting it to any of the MBA programs? If I have to submit it, will it significantly lower my chances of getting into a top Econ grad school/MBA program. I would hate to see all my hard work go down the drain.
One bad grade will not generally be a problem in getting into any research-based degree program. If you want to know the impact on getting into an MBA program then you should ask on the MBA forum.
I’m going to move this to the business school forum, but for what it’s worth I also think one bad grade is not going to dash your MBA dreams forever. Your work experience is more important anyway.
But most grad programs do ask for transcripts from all schools you’ve attended, so you should probably submit it.
