Did I mess up? (Deferred)

As a deferred applicant, I fully intended to send in an update to Yale with a few new awards/leadership positions and a short statement reiterating that it was my very first choice, but in the end, nothing was sent aside from a new SAT II score and my mid-year grades.

Did I put myself at a serious disadvantage by not submitting an update/interest letter? I know it's way too late to matter, but I was just curious whether most deferred --> accepted applicants do something like that.

Well in about two days you should know, so don’t worry about it.

You don’t have to send anything in order to be accepted; but sending stuff can’t hurt

i wouldn’t worry about it; they’ve already made their decisions; if you end up getting wait listed, then I’d definitely send in extra stuff b/c that could possibly get you accepted
