<p>dragonneedspank: Just take it if it is required. Do not be like my child who takes it so late in his college career. He did not complain about it when he finally took it. At least it could help your reading significantly, as the professor tends to assign a lot of books for this kind of class. (5 books in my child’s case. It appears that the students do not have to read all of them though; maybe only 3 of them are really the required ones. Depending on the professor, it could be writing intensive - e.g., students may be required to write a term paper at the end of the semester in addition to the usual tests.)</p>
<p>However, I think it is possible that my child might complain about it if he took it in freshmen year. A few years of maturity can do the magic.</p>
