Did I miss a question?

I was looking through my UNC application again today when I noticed something I hadn’t before. Under the “Activities” tab of the UNC-specific portion it says, “If you wish to submit your resume, you may upload it here.” I didn’t have a resume to submit, so I skipped it. But I just now saw that underneath that it says, “Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences.”
Was this a required question that I missed? And if so, is there any way to rectify this mistake, or do you think they simply threw my application out on arrival for incompleteness? (I submitted my application as an Early Action applicant on October 14, 2015.) Please help!

Pretty sure it was optional. Probably didn’t matter.

My daughter missed the same question, but noticed immediately after submitting. She emailed her response. Why don’t you ask admissions?

the same thing happened to me. I checked over my application about 3-4 times and never saw that question. was this question added on after I submitted my application on October 11th?

The same thing happened to my son. He called UNC and they told him to email the resume and the essay.

@RemyBrittany is the resume required? I don’t exactly have one to send…

@JerzJim No, the resume is optional.

@JerzyJim I don’t think the extracurricular activity question was optional though. UNC is really good about letting you email them material later.
