<p>It's not as though there won't be stores near WUStL. I think you'll be okay. Do you have towels shoved into the misc. living needs? Because really, that category could contain a lot of different things.</p>

<p>Maybe. The "Misc living needs" ranges from clothes hangers to toothpaste to conditioner. You either are conscious of what you use daily and pack what you need or you go for a shopping trip once you get there.</p>

<p>Thanks for the suggestions. I got a ton of misc living needs as a joke present during a roast because I am a messy person. Don't have to worry about deodorant or hair brushes.</p>
<p>Umm, do you have your sheets/comforter and maybe an iron? Or microwave/fridge (and food for it/bowls/cups/can opener (a hand one will do) salt&pepper/fork n knife, etc) debit card/coffee pot (if allowed) umm...shower shoes/tv/dvd/ extra batteries for remote/calc? A tv cable to hook ur tv to the wall... umm...calendar might be useful and bins for storage within ur dorm so you can put them in ur closet/under ur bed. Or a filing packet for school papers. Umm.. calculator for math class? Ti-83 - ti-89 etc? Robe? Trashcan? Laundry hamper? erm - backpack... shower caddy.... posters. That is all that I can think of at the moment. That might be a bit more than you need, but those are a lot of the random things either I forgot or I had friends forget, etc. Hope that helped.</p>
<p>Oh, and if ur messy maybe one of those mini vaccums (they r like 20 bucks) or a swiffer picker uper thing for your carpet in ur dorm. Or a broom if it's tile. In a yr u'll prob want to pick it up atleast a few times, even if u r a guy.</p>

<p>Uh, what about the whole TV/microwave/refrigerator/DVD player situation? A printer? I think Vandy mentioned some of those above but repetition's not a bad thing.</p>
<p>What about a lamp? A fan? A rug of some sort? A few formal clothes (suit, tie, dress pants) in case you have to attend any formal ceremonies? What about a rubber chicken?</p>
<p>think about all the cords you need to make various things work-- cell phone charger, laptop cord, ethernet cord if your campus does that, cord to connect camera to computer...etc...</p>
<p>Go to the "what to bring...a-z" list and see if you missed anything. And as others have said, you can buy what you don't have once you get there.</p>
