Did I make it?

i dont think so.. so many people just havent heard yet so i wouldnt worry.. i would also call if you are in doubt about it

AMGLeague, you made it on time. You are all good man, good luck.

Do those SAT scores count as being postmarked on 12/1 since thats when I requested them on Collegeboard.com?

i called them and they said i missed the deadline.

are you sure the person on the phone didn't misunderstand you? I remember last year I requested my SAT scores on the day it was due (a saturday) and they recieved it afterward, my hs transcript was recieved after the deadline too and I still heard back within a week or two. I also don't remember them posting the date that items were recieved online last year so maybe its different? I'm not certain.

thats what they told me that i missed

then i got a "SORRY"

that's ridiculous. I mean, you might have missed the deadline but will they hold that against you, or are they disregarding your app entirely?

it means i am considered on a "space-available" basis

did you talk to a student who was working the phone for the office or did you actually talk to an administrator?

I'm pretty certain that I wouldnt have heard that fast if I was being considered on a space available basis considering that the deadline was right around that time.
I'm pretty confident that the rule is as long as items are postmarked by the deadline (This is now my second go round with college applications and I did a senior internship with a guidence counselor in a neighboring district, so I'm fairly experienced with the process)

she sounded pretty young, so idk
