Did I not get an Interview because Teacher Recommendation missing?

<p>So the title pretty much says it all, but Did I not get an Interview because Teacher Recommendation missing? i submitted it by CommonApp, but they didnt get it, so i did it by mail and they updated it today that it was in file, but did they put my application and interview stuff on hold as a result? </p>

<p>im asking this because everyone in my school got an interview except me!!! :((((
im applying EA by the way!
and i think im going to cry...:/ </p>

<p>is it that they chose only the best people from the school who they are interested in and interview them? and the rest of the ppl just get deffered/rejected? </p>

<p>Nope. I had a teacher rec missing and still had an interview.
Interviews are based on the number of available alumni in your area.
The fact that you do or do not have one means nothing else.</p>

and is it possible that everyone esle in my school got one and i didnt?
i guess im that unlucky..haha :/</p>
