Did i play it right?...or did i aim to low?

I applied to four colleges early.
Uchicago
Michigan-Engin
SUNY Stony
SUNY Bing

and got into all of them... I'm not sure if i played the admissions game perfectly or if, aside from uchicago, i aimed to low on the rest of my applications

no one can really comment on this if you don’t provide your stats…

just go to chicago :P

Go to which ever fits you…it’s not about aiming high or low, it’s about aiming for schools that fit you and that you really love

Congrats on your acceptances

This comes off as an offhanded way to pat yourself on the back.

You really do belong at U of Chicago…

Um You Aimed Too Low.

Aim to low? You call Uchicago low? Countless people would die to be offered a chance to go to such a great and internationally-renowned powerhouse.

If i was offered admission to HYP and then Uchicago as well, I’d be very hard pressed to decide where in the end to go - UChicago is a truly amazing place, I hope you have a great time there.

Mabye you could have applied to a few more reaches for fun but it doesnt matter now.

lol…did i not write aside from chicago cause im pretty sure i did

Where have you applied during the regular round, anywhere at all?

Kind of. Not that your highs were too high, but it seems that you have a slight reach (UChicago), a high-match (unless you’re in-state, Michigan), and two safeties. You probably could’ve expected to get into schools like Brown, Johns Hopkins, etc. As for harder schools than Chicago? There’s no way to know.

dartmouth and hopkins, cause i really like those two schools..i just wanted to know if i played the gam right…i feel like i really did

then you realllly really did.

yea beefs you aimed too low… for a cough lol jk

if i were you i would have added one more high, but you got into nice schools.

UChicago is where fun goes to die…

You aimed too low considering that you were accepted by all of them. You should have applied to some ivy league schools and other private universities, also.

Univ. of chicgo is very good. Because most amdission deadlines have passed, I think you should go to Univ. of Chicago.

where did you apply regular?

and what are your stats?

scratch the first question. but um…if you applied to everywhere you would be happy at, then i guess its fine. I would ahve suggested applying to a couple more schools regular, but if you’re content with the possibility of getting rejected dmouth and brown, and going to chicago, its ok. once again, stats would help

If you get regular round acceptances from Dartmouth or JHU, you’ll have a great set of choices (as you already do). Apply to the colleges you like; no need to feel bad about not applying to more if you applied to the ones you like.
