Did I really just waste $75?

I just sent in my app about 15 minutes ago, 5 minutes before the deadline. But here's the thing, I decided to apply maybe ten minutes prior to that. Although I got the application in on time, I need to ask for recommendations (my teachers just need to print out another copy) and to have my transcript released at school, and I just sent in my SAT + ACT scores. On the website it says the deadline for all of those is Jan. 2. Does anyone know if this is a hard deadline, or if it would be alright if my stuff came in in the next week?

Recommendations, transcripts, etc (basically anything other than the application and supplement) are soft deadlines. Just make sure to get your school to sed it asap.

soft, i sent my teacher recs after the deadline. its ok as long as your app was in on time, the main part, then your fine.

I received a confirmation e-mail from Duke and got my account set up where I can see what has been turned in. It says that since they’re going through heavy loads of applications, I don’t have to worry if I didn’t get certain things in. They’re going to update my list by late January and if there is anything missing, then I can just simply send it in. So, I definitely think there’s no problem.
