I applied EA to Northeastern University in the fall and was deferred. I recently sent them in a bunch of new material in hopes of increasing my chances...do you think I have a chance?

I don’t know how good a school northeaster is but that SAT is pretty low. You have some pretty good EC’s though. I’m going to guess that your GPA is around 3.2-3.4. Sending a letter that its your number 1 school though is really good. I don’t really know enough to chance you but good luck.

Virginiafan- Thanks a lot for the input, I’m hoping to mainly bring the CR up with the January SATs (fingers crossed)

rodney- I’m not taking a math or a science this year. I’ve completed 4 years of college prep math and 4 years of science (3 labs). I am also applying for FA

ok…i think Northeastern is need aware, therefore, I’m not overly confident about your chances after your deferral…if your Jan SAT scores are better though, better chance…

That’s understandable, however there were a number of deferred students accepted last year (half for the fall, half for the spring). I did also state that I was confident I would attend if accepted…

So far I’ve been accepted to Quinnipiac, Ithaca, SUNY Fredonia and Suffolk
