Did I screw myself over for UC's?

In my personal statement, I wrote about my involvement in my school's environmental club and I was interested in environmental health. I didn't state that was my major, but it's implied that it is. However, I reported my 2 on my AP Biology test to the UC's. When I was filling out my apps, I thought that it would be okay since ecological biology/environmental science was a branch of biology and AP Bio focused more on molecular biology and all that, which I am apparently not good at. But now that I think about it, I feel like the admissions officers would see my 2 and put me in the reject pile because it's sort of in the same category. Should I have just left the score off? Is there anything I can do now?

I've heard that they don't look at AP scores, but how would I really know this is true or not?

Just chill man!

What the colleges tell you is right. AP and IB test scores are NOT considered against you in the admissions process, although they can actually help you. SInce they are usually self reported, you don’t need to worry about them taking the scores too seriously, but it could have HELPED you if you had a higher score.

So, in short, NO, it shouldn’t hurt your chances much so long as everything else is fairly solid!

You should have left it off, but it won’t really impact your chances.
