Did I screw up? (ED issue)

I wanted to do ED at a school, partially because the acceptance rate was nearly tripled(!). However, I recently found out that deadline is November 1st, and I have yet to re-take the SAT and fulfill SAT subject test requirements. I plan on taking the SAT in October. I doubt I will be able to take all three tests in one day (I'd probably die afterward). It looks like I will have to apply regular decision.

Will applying regular decision deter my chances significantly?

depends on school
and where you sit in their applicant pool

Depends on what school…and how unsatisfied you are with your scores.

Note also that
Some might take both Nov and Oct scores after deadline

wow jinx rocket6louise…

at least we have a consensus

Most colleges say that it is okay for ED applicants to take the November SAT. (Stanford doesn’t, so check the deadlines school by school.)

One of the schools i’m applying to does the same thing. If you can’t find it on the website, i’d say e-mail the school. You should be able to send the november one’s though. Simply because all of your application material should’nt even have been completely reviewed yet. It does depend on the school though.

edit: nvm the act is offered in september not sat
