Did I send my SRAR too early?

Hello, I'm wondering if I sent in my SRAR too early. It's not due till January 12, but I just sent it without my first semester senior grades, instead I put 'In Progress' for all of my senior courses because I have not received them yet.

I'm assuming one can send in their SRAR in January with their first semester senior grades. So would it also be okay to send it before the deadline and before my 1st semester senior grades are received? This would probably just be a yes, but I'm paranoid. Thanks everyone!

UIUC does not want your first semester grades and it will not use such grades to determine admission; it uses senior year grades only to withdraw admissions in July if you blow senior year.

I always wondered what “blow” means (ok not in the sense you’re thinking of). Would they really accept like a C or D if you went from like all A’s and B’s.

Thanks drusba! One less thing to worry about in winter break!

IeatKids, I doubt they will accept failing grades, but if one is in such a position they can appeal the admission decision.
