For my additional information on the common app, I uploaded a 4 page resume, basically the one I gave to my teachers. It listed my AP classes, scores, extracurriculars, interests, and jobs, which would have been only a page or two, but I elaborated on nearly every extracurricular and interest. I'm starting to think this was a mistake...

I've submitted my app to all my safeties and top schools so far (and gotten deferred from Stanford... haha. maybe this was to blame?) should I try and revise it for my remaining schools so it's not as long? This is starting to worry me. Especially because I've applied to my top schools already.

that is WAY too much. You dont need to list all your ap classes etc, those are on different parts of the application. Your resume should be short, 1 page( 2 page is a reach) is good and should only elaborate on stuff that is REALLY important to you or makes you stand out.

Just use the additional comments area to elaborate on things it tells you to. Many colleges, such as Stanford strongly discourage you from even sending a resume. Didn’t you read that In the Stanford supplement, where it said so?

I must have missed that part on the supplement. Oh well, too late now. I’ll fix it for my remaining schools. There’s not much of a chance that this could hurt me enough to get more rejected than I already would be at my other top choices though, so I’m not going to worry about it.
