I (EUROPEAN) sent in my paper application to a number of Eastcoast colleges in late December.
I checked online and they arrive at the NY airport on 12/30/2008.
Sadly, I haven't heard from but one college.
How much longer do you assume it will take till colleges notify me?
What are you experience concerning the waiting time for paper apps?</p>

<p>It depends on what kind of colleges you sent them to.</p>
<p>If they are rolling admissions, you could hear back within a few weeks. However, if you are applying to upper-tier schools it’s likely that they aren’t rolling admissions. If that is the case, the typical deadline of notification is April 1st…</p>
<p>If you go to collegeboard.com or to your colleges’ websites you can easily find out when you should expect to hear back!</p>
<p>ummm… my question wasn’t really when i was going to hear about whether i got in or not.
i just wanted to know when they tell me they got all of my stuff… which they normal should do I assume</p>

What colleges did you apply to?
Most places will send you an e-mail within a week or two after they get your application and you create a little account on their website. The account will have an “application status” that lets you know if you are missing anything… this has been the case for all of my schools.<br>
But keep in mind that they have to process a lot of mail, so it could take up to a few weeks to get a notification…
