Did not visit or have interview!

<p>Topic says it all. I did not have an interview with any alumni b/c I by the time I finished the app. the deadline for interviews was over.</p>

<p>And I did not visit Rice. I have no excuse for this since I LIVE IN TEXAS!</p>

<p>How are these decisions going to affect my chances at Rice? I SRSLY want to go to RICE b/c of its focus on Nanotech. But I don't know if the admissions officers will see my interest in going to Rice.</p>

<p>P.S. I did send in my PSAT scores to Rice. Would that make any marked difference?</p>

<p>Interview is “optional”, and the visit is NOT a big deal, at all. If you are a strong applicant and you really want to go there, then your essays should reflect that (there was a why rice essay, and why you want to study what you do) so you could show your desire to go to rice & study nanotech.</p>

<p>PSAT will prolly be considered, not a big deal though.</p>
