Did poorly in a single class at a different CC. What should I do about it?

I currently attend a community college that has a very high transfer rate. However it is a 30 minute drive from where I live. About a year ago, I took a single web design class at another community college that is much closer to my home (but lower quality). I accidentally missed a test and ended the class with a C grade (which prevents me from retaking it for a higher grade).

I have 3 questions that stem from this issue.

What happens if I just dont send my transcript for that one class. I hear people say you HAVE to report all grades from all institutions. But what if I dont? Will I just be instantly rejected? How will they know that Im not reporting that grade?

How is my GPA calculated across colleges? Is my transfer GPA a combination of both schools(i.e. a 4.0 at School A and a 3.0 at School B= 3.5 transfer gpa)? or does each school have individual transfer GPAs. For instance my main school would show a GPA of 3.5 and the second school would show a GPA of 2.0?

If I were to take the same web design class at my main school and get an A, would that override the C from the other school? Because I really dont want that C pulling me down if I can help it.

If its true that I HAVE to report all my grades from the school were I got the C, then its probably a good idea for me to just take a bunch of easy classes at the school where I got the C, and make sure I get A's in them there so that I dont have to report that 2.0 GPA, right?

Rule #1 of college admissions: you find out information from the college website or the college itself, not from ‘people’. What do the colleges ask for?

1) Depends on the college; UCs and USC want to see all coursework you have taken.
2) Correct.
3) Depends on the school or college but for UCs and USC the answer is no.

You should absolutely report it, if the application asks for all grades, which I assume it does. One C shouldn’t make a huge different in you GPA, and if you can give a good explanation for it in your application, they may overlook it. However if you fail to report it, they will likely reject you. And if for some reason they don’t, they can can go as far as rescinding your degree, even once you have graduated, if they find out. You don’t want to have to worry about that. Just do the honest thing, and you will feel better about it.
