Did PSU (Smeal college) just build a new building for their business program?

I heard this from somewhere, but I haven't been able to verify it

if yes, is the new building only for the grad?

The new Smeal Building is about three years old. I have been in the building and it is very state-of-the-art. Among other things, it contains 16 undergraduate classrooms. Here is a link to information about the new Smeal Building, including a virtual tour and floor plans. Business Building — Penn State Smeal College of Business

The building is basically divided into two sides. One half is grad, the other half undergrad.

wow that looks really nice...... can't wait till I get to be there

oh thanx btw ^^

is it far from the south or west dorms? i am going to try to live in west or south

yes it is kind of far from both. the east dorms are right next to it

there are already another threads talking about housing and stuff but... lol

can i ask you guys what would be a good dorm to live in?

I heard that East dorm is full of freshmen (which is a good thing) but it can be noisy ( a lot and they get crazy all the time )

I don't want to be cocky but I am a good student who loves to party a lot , but I want to maintain my grade so i can study at medschool.

which dorm would you prefer? (i don't know if Special Living option would be great either -it would limit myself from making friends (?) just my thought)

thanx

The best way i can put it is to paraphras what someone on here already said in a different thread:
East is the party. If you live in East, you can't leave the party. If you live somewhere else, you can always go to the party (East) and leave when you want to, or not go at all.

My son is in East and yes there are parties, but it does not disrupt his studying or solitude. There are plenty of quiet areas to study outside of the dorm if you wish.
