I just sent my ED application to BU, however, I included my ACT and SAT II. I’m not sure why I did this but it’s too late to change anything. BU is a pretty far reach for me and it’s by far my first choice so I’m really worried. I sent my SAT which was and 1890 but my ACT was a 24 (also 20 on reading - I was really sick) Also my SAT IIs were not so great either and I submitted them too. 530 on Literature and 630 on US History. I want to be an English or Journalism major so I’m hoping 20 & 530 on the exam won’t mean anything. Will the admissions board just look at my highest scores (my SAT) and not even look at my SAT II and ACT since they weren’t required? Or will they look at them since I submitted them. I’m really concerned. Anyone know?

I don’t have an answer to your question but I did the same thing. I don’t have the money to wait and see my results to see if I want to send or not at $11 per test per college. I think they will look at whatever test is best, in this case your 1890 SAT. And don’t worry about SAT II, if they are high they help, but if they are low I think that they are just ignored.

Also, is it possible to call the admissions office and tell them I wouldn’t like to be considered for CGS? I applied early before they changed the deadline to the 5th (and then again to the 15th) so I was kind of in a rush. I said that I would want to be considered for the CGS not knowing it was a 2 year program before you go to the college of your choice. Looking over some stuff I think it’s very possible that if I get admitted to BU that they’ll put me in this program since my GPA isn’t that great. I can’t afford to pay 6 years at BU and I don’t really want to be in school that long.

CGS is a two ywar program. You then transfer to one of the other schools for the last two years. You will still graduate in four years.

Ok, but is it possible to tell them I didn’t mean to click yes?
