So in your admissions essay to NYU CAS you wrote about how sitting in on a Stern class interested you? hmmm. As an NYU CAS student, I can tell you that there’s nothing more pathetic than Stern wannabes in CAS… Not saying that you are one, but I think you get the point…

Anyways, numbers-wise, your SAT is fine for those schools. SATIIs, as you are aware, are below average, but they really don’t matter for much so don’t worry. GPA is quite low, but ED is more forgiving of this sort of thing. And you do have the legacy factor from your bro. Good Luck!

trust me… i DON’T HAVE ANY desire to go to stern… if CAS is a reach… stern is WAY out of question. Just that I had a sibling there and it was the only class I could attend

NYU isnt “that” selective
seriously, those stern kids rigg the NYU stats
so cut down about 30 pts on each section of their SAT average scores
your sat score is well above average
ive seen many many many mediocre students get into NYU regular, and im talking about people who have worse stats than you. but better SAT2s.
i think you have a little more than 50% chance of getting in since you are EDing
and GW - thats not your reach. more like your match.
brandeis and umich are your slight reaches but they are seriously reasonable.
just bring up your sat2s somehow cus they really do matter alot
i think you are being a little too negative. good luck
