<p>I saw an article on NYT that showed many different schools and the comparison between last year's and this years applicant pool for early admission. However, in that article, CMU was not listed.. Does anyone have info on this?</p>

<p>It can be assumed that the number did increase. With college admissions getting more and more competitive, a growing number of students want to increase their chances at top schools by committing early.</p>
