<p>I was eligible for the FOS scholarship and submitted it on March 23rd a few days after I got the email (March 19). Two of my friends have already gotten it but maybe it's because they submitted it earlier. Any possible reason why I haven't gotten it yet? I heard that it's guaranteed you'll get it as long as you send the requirements.</p>
<p>Sooo apparently, there are about 1000 eligible applicants. Those are all the people accepted for fall/summer term of 2012. They are only giving out 350ish. Now take in consideration that not all 1000 people are going to go to uf. Some got better offers/ got into better schools/ want to be closer to home and some are just not going to turn it in/ be to late turn it in… Sooo ya… Its not really 350 out of 1000… They are supposed to notify all recipients within the next two weeks. People who received it will also get a letter in the mail. That is all i no. There is not much information about it.</p>
