<p>So does NYU send out letters to verify that they've gotten all of your transcripts and recs and such? Or do they contact you if something is missing? Or what? My mom mentioned something to me today and now I'm freaking out! AHHHH! Well, please if anyone know about this, fill me in!</p>
<p>Yes, I got a mail from N.Y.U. verifying my application. There were some errors so I corrected on the letter itself as I was directed and faxed them. Then I got an e-mail saying that they did correct it. This happened a few weeks ago. Probably two weeks or more.</p>

I checked my app status at a various colleges that i applied to such as U. Illinois, U. Mich, etc. and not every file was, surprisingly, complete. so go check it out.</p>
<p>Ok so for all those people who got a letter confirming that their dorcuments were in....di you apply online or by mail. Because I applied online and got the confirmation that my application was in but I haven't gotten any confirmation about transcripts or recs or ED paperwork.</p>

It was that..."embark" thing. </p>
<p>I got a receipt e-mail, a confirmation e-mail, and an actual confirmation letter from NYU two weeks ago.</p>

<p>your SS #, school which you are applying to, major, NYU ID #, etc.</p>

<p>AND</p>
<p>A confirmation from NYU saying they received my app a few days later- email</p>

<p>An ACTUAL letter from NYU verifying my app two weeks or more ago from today- MAIL</p>

<p>go check to make sure your file is complete. It's not safe to believe everything is fine. Sometimes you need to relax but when it comes to this...you really need to do everything quickly and thoroughly...</p>

<p>Ooooo that thing, yeah I got that a week ago....My friend who didn't even apply there got that. I think if you ever filled out a postcard or anything like that at NYU, you recieve that thing.</p>
<p>No I got something else. It was like a little envelope. It says I am accepted to NYU.</p>
