<p>This is kinda weird, and don't flame me for procrastinating so much, but I sent my Yale/Northwestern/Brown Applications the night of 12/31/2009. The schools did not receive my application until 1/1/2010, and 1/2/2010. I am concerned.</p>
<p>The deadlines are as followed</p>
<p>Yale: 12/31/2009
Northwestern: 1/1/2010
Brown: 1/4/2010. </p>
<p>The only school that has replied with my confirmation of getting my application was Northwestern two days later, and they received everything past the deadline. Any clue when Brown/Yale will send their e-mails out to me? Is this happening to you guys? It's been two weeks. =/</p>

<p>By “receive,” do you mean the “downloaded” date on the ComApp website? If so, you’re fine. Apps I’ve sent at even 1 in the afternoon weren’t downloaded until the next day. Colleges still know you submitted before the deadline.</p>
<p>A lot of people on the Yale subforum have mentioned not receiving a confirmation, so our best bet is that they’re taking a while. They’re very busy. A lot of people have interviews lined up or have already had them, without anything like confirmation, so I wouldn’t worry too much about receiving acknowledgment. Since you received something from NU, you’re fine there. Unless the ComApp exploded or something, Brown surely got your app before 1/4.</p>

<p>And would you guys recommend getting an interview? I got one for U of Chicago and I ended up getting deferred. I don’t know if it helped me or not hahaha. I thought it was useful…but maybe not =/</p>
<p>If you check the Yale website, I beleive it says they will send out confirmation emails at the end of January…don’t quote me on that though. But I do recall some kind of announcement on the Yale admissions website. Many colleges will wait until the end of Jnauary until they receive and file all of the papers they are probably still receiving.</p>

But I sent all my school forms in and recommendations back in November.</p>
<p>Oh well…guess I’ll just have to be patient =)</p>
