When I applied for U of M, I clearly declared my major as political science.
But after I got accepted, it says my degree is undecided...
Did this happen to everyone in LSA?...or am I screwed?

My D’s materials say the same thing. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.

same here (applied to computer science in LSA, accepted says undecided)

Why would you be screwed Devilinwan? In American universities, students do not have to declare their major until the end of their Sophomore year. Once admitted into the College of LSA, you can pretty much major in whatever major within that college, from Anthropology to Zoology. In the application, the only reason they ask you for your preferred major is so that they can estimate the demand for the different majors down the line. That helps in their planning. What one lists as the intended major within a particular college technically has no bearing whatsoever on one’s chances of admission into that particular college.

Same here. So that doesn’t matter

Thanks! I guess I worried for nothing…lol

Not only that, but I can almost guarantee you that you will be considering other majors before you declare your intended one. Don’t worry, everyone goes through this.
